Todd Litman is founder and executive director of the Victoria Transport Policy Institute, an independent research organization dedicated to developing innovative solutions to transport problems. His work helps expand the range of impacts and options considered in transportation decision-making, improve evaluation methods, and make specialized technical concepts accessible to a larger audience. His research is used worldwide in transport planning and policy analysis.
Ericka Amador is a student of the Master of Community Planning program at Vancouver Island University. She’s an active transportation advocate and is interested in the role transit plays in increasing quality of life. Her experience as a long-time renter in Washington, DC and Victoria have inspired her to seek solutions to housing unaffordability in the places people most want to live.
James Ellis is a Geography Student at the University of Victoria with a keen interest in the urban environment. A current intern at the Victoria Transport Policy Institute, he aspires to one day help cities reach their goals of sustainability and inclusivity as an Urban Planner
